THE SECRET OF A GARMENT THAT LASTS DEPENDS OF COURSE ON THE MATERIALS, THE QUALITY OF ITS MANUFACTURE, BUT ALSO ON THE CARE THAT IS GIVEN TO IT. CQFD GIVES YOU ALL THE KEYS, TIPS AND TRICKS TO KEEP YOUR COTTON SHIRT FOR A LIFETIME AND PASS IT ON AS AN HEIRLOOM, THANKS TO THIS DETAILED CARE GUIDE.
THE MATERIAL
The CQFD white shirt is made of 100% organic cotton twill with GOTS certified cotton threads. This beautiful cotton comes from the Italian Albini factory, founded in 1876 and recognized by the most prestigious luxury houses for the unmatched quality of its fabrics. Thanks to the exceptional characteristics of its fiber and a twill weave, the selected cotton guarantees resistance, softness and comfort to the shirt. This fabric from Albini will wrinkle much less than a poplin and can be ironed more easily, for a bright and structured shirt all day long.
WASHING
The cotton shirt is an easy to maintain piece.
To take the best care of your shirt, wash it in the washing machine at 30° on a delicate cycle, only with other white clothes and closing all the buttons. It is preferable to use a washing net to protect the fabric from rubbing.
Dry cleaning with restrictions is possible.
Do not bleach.
DRYING
Do not tumble dry.
Prefer a moderate spin cycle and then smooth out the shirt before drying it on a hanger, buttons closed, to prevent creases.
Avoid drying your white shirt in direct sunlight, which tends to yellow white clothing.
THE REINFORCEMENT
For a perfect result, iron on the reverse side to avoid damaging the cotton. To make ironing easier and give the fiber more body, iron your shirt while it is still slightly damp. You can also use a steam iron.
STORAGE
To minimize wrinkles on the shirt, store it on a hanger, front and sleeve buttons closed, collar tucked in. To transport it, don't hesitate to store it in a protective cover.
Always keep your clothes away from sunlight and the moon.

- CQFD has sourced the organic cotton for the shirt from one of the finest Italian manufacturers, already acclaimed by iconic luxury labels: the Albini house. The selected cotton is bright and slightly shiny, without being transparent. To revive its shine, add white vinegar to your machine. Do not bleach chemically.
- Don't cut off the labels so that you are always reminded of the composition of your garment and the proper care of it. If you decide to part with it, this will also guarantee its quality to its new owner.
- Focus on maintenance and repair: in case of a small tear or a hole in your shirt, go directly to an alteration shop. If you need a button or a component to repair your CQFD garment, send your request to the following address: contact@cqfd.com
